Yesterday Dr Sid dropped the visuals for his highly anticipated music video Baby Tornado Rmx and we loved it! The video features the highly talented UK artist Alexandra Burke, when I first heard the Baby Torando Remix I was quite shocked to hear Burke on it. She sings a few words in Yoruba which was also shocking. Dr Sid is pulling out all the stops this year and supplying us with fresh Afropop.
After watching the video I was amazed, it wasn't the kind of video I would expect from Dr Sid especially after he recently released the visuals for his hit song Surelere.
The Baby Tornado video is surprising because its more quirky, fun and playful. It reminded of a Dizze Rascal video meets Rugrats Movie meets Usher in his "Yeah" video. We often don't see such playful and visual interesting videos from an African artist.
The video also features a few familiar faces including Charles Venn, Ceo Dancers, Wretch 32, Dorcas Fapson and I am sure there are more hidden stars.

I am so happy to see that Dr Sid is opting for something different with his music, quirky features and cool videos.
Mavin Records is definitely doing things differently this year, first Tiwa Savage had everyone shocked with her sexy video and now Dr Sid. I can't wait to see what Mavin Records has in store for us for the rest of this year.
